To transfer any domain you need to do 2 things:

1. Request a transfer code.

2. Make sure the domain does not have a "Registrar Lock".

Get a transfer code from your current registrar. This depends on the registrar itself, most codes are visible to the user while others might need to contact their respective registrars and request one.

After you have a transfer code, make sure the domain has no "Registrar Lock". This is a cautionary system registrars use and some are turned on by default.

Now you are ready to transfer your domain to Name.am!

Log in to your Name.am account -> hover over the panel located at the top-right corner called "Domain", a list should appear where you can select the "Transfer" option.

Input your domain name, then the code and press the "Add to Cart" button.

To finish your transfer, choose a desired plan from our available listings, check out the payment and your domain will be transferred and prolonged for one year.
